I'm still unsure about the way Otto Penzler was pushed out of a series that he began (even though I understand that Otto was problematic--to say the least--to many in the crime/mystery community), but this seems like it will be a good change. Ms. Cha made some great points about how the mystery/crime genre should be talking about what's going on now socially, and I think that's going to be hard for some of us (white) writers to adapt to. But if we can, it'll be worth it.
